The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a Breast Surgical Oncologist to join our highly skilled academic surgical faculty at our NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. This position is ideal for a surgeon committed to academic excellence, multidisciplinary cancer care, and advancing the field through research, innovation, and education.

 Key Position Highlights:

As a core member of our breast surgical oncology team, the selected candidate will practice within a high-volume tertiary care academic center serving a multistate region. The position includes:

A dedicated Breast Surgical Oncology practice, including call responsibilities integrated with a supportive and collegial team

Eligibility requires Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship training or Complex General Surgical Oncology training with a breast emphasis

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• MD, DO or equivalent
• Board Eligible/ Board Certified in General Surgery
• Completion of a specialized fellowship in Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship or Complex General Surgical Oncology Fellowship with a breast emphasis
• Eligible for licensure in Kansas and Missouri
